Genesis Reign is a character that appears in the Guidepost to Tomorrow series.
History[]
Genesis Reign is first introduced in the city of Talia as an assassin. His target: President Johnathan Blackjack. He believed that the president's goal was foolhardy. Because the three beats of war, peace, and revolution would continue eternally, he felt that the president's words were empty. His dream was delusional. His hope was really despair. The will of the people were to die with the president.
Powers and Abilities[]
Alchemy: It is revealed by Chanaé that Genesis Reign is an alchemist, but his exact level is unknown.
Contract: Because of his contract, his existence is tied with the abstract conception of a chemical substance with the chemical formula H2O.
Enhanced Speed: Genesis was able to outmaneuver and react faster than Chanaé, who was shown to be able to traverse 150 septillion kilometers in 0.02 attoseconds.
Enhanced Resistance: Genesis Reign is immune to temperatures of Absolute Zero and Absolute Hot.
Enhanced Regeneration: When Genesis Reign was shattered in diamond dust, he regenerated before the moment could even change. Later, when the time and memory of Genesis Reign became no more than an imaginary number, as his entire quantum existence was erased, Genesis Reign unconsciously reconfigured his time, memory, essence, substance, and form.
Schrödinger's Cat: Genesis Reign carries the will of the self-observing Schrödinger's Cat. As long as he recognizes himself, he is everywhere and nowhere.
Telepathy: He can read the minds of his opponents. Genesis Reign requires no conscious activation as he simply hears the opponent's thoughts, and can see what thoughts are going to be generated as if they were subtitles on a screen.
Quantum Precognition: Genesis has the ability to almost-instantaneously see all the probable outcomes of a situation, and to discern what decisions or choices lead to which outcomes. If the events are recognized as 0 phenomena or have a 0% chance of happening, he cannot see the quantum configurations of the future.
Thick Mist: Genesis can generate a thick, dense mist that coveres a surrounding area of 510,072,000 km2.
Hydromancy: Genesis can generate water based phenomena from nothingness.
9 Dragons: Genesis Reign can mentally materialize water, launching it in the shape of 9 Chinese dragons. The dragons explode, covering the entire field in water. The temperature becomes an absolute value of 1.416785(71) × 1032 kelvin.
Spinning Water Vortex: Genesis Reign can summon water, utilizing the water to create a spinning water vortex around his target, forcing their soul out of their material body.
Seven Butterflies: Genesis Reign can summon seven butterflies from the astral plane, which enters in his target's body, devouring the target from the inside, starting with the mind, then the soul, and finally the body.
Water Column: Genesis Reign can force water to rise from the ground to surround target, engulfing and drowning the target. The water rises like a column, attacking the target's soul in the same instant that it is raised.
Water Vortex Blast: A Water vortex is created in the palm of the Reign’s hand. Then, it is blasted forwards, creating a spiraling torrent of water, generating a velocity that surpasses that of accelerating tachyons.
Whirlpool: Genesis utilized this just as Chanaé attempted to attack Genesis Reign from the Astral Plane (a level of existence that is within the gap between the mind and the soul). Genesis Reign created a whirlpool with a gravitational pull so dense, that not even the categories of Being could escape its pull. Chanaé and all of her categories and attributes that made up her form and substance; her multi-dimensional existence, was sucked into a whirlpool, dissipating and dispersing her into pure quanta.
Automatic Shields - Mirror of the Ocean Dragon Lord: In the gap between possibility and actuality, his automatic shields activates. The consciousness behind the reality of Reign, which is also behind every form of reality, fiction, nonexistence, and existence ever mentioned or seen (and the infinite multiplicity amount never mentioned, seen, or even conceived of yet…), creates a wall of water around Reign. This wall of water is a catalyst for a dimensional barrier that absorbs conceptual phenomena.
